Saudi Build 2008 celebrates its 20th anniversary with record international participation
It is no surprise that owing to the Kingdom’s ambitious development plans and the consistent growth in the Saudi construction sector at 7% annually fueled by historic oil revenues and an impressive lineup of mega projects at a cost of several hundred billion SAR, that the country’s leading construction trade show “Saudi Build” has attracted unprecedented attention worldwide.
Held next October 26 – 29 in Riyadh, Saudi Build 2008 is the 20th annual edition in the series started two decades ago by Riyadh Exhibitions Co. and continues to serve the Kingdom’s high powered construction sector.
On the look out for investment and trading opportunities, are hundreds of international exhibitors that will be flocking to Saudi Build 2008 next October to offer a wide array of the latest in building material and technology, construction tools and equipment, as well as the finest display of stone, marble, and granite showcased under Saudi Stone 2008 concurrently held with Saudi Build.
The show features country pavilions from European as well as Asian and Middle Eastern building products manufacturers and exporters.
Leading Europe’s major presence at this year’s edition are national pavilions from Germany, Italy, UK, Austria, Greece, and newcomers Portugal and Holland. They are joined by other exhibitors from France, Switzerland, Spain, Australia, Malta, Korea, Malaysia, and Singapore. Also at Saudi Build 2008 are very large delegations from Turkey, China, and India and impressive pavilions from Egypt, UAE, Qatar, and Lebanon.
Saudi Arabia itself will continue to hold the main presence at Saudi Build 2008 which brings together the country’s finest importers and manufacturers of building components. Leading the Kingdom’s delegations are big names like SABIC, Al Zamil Co., Al Rajhi Steel, Saudi Ceramics, Saudi Marble, GTE, and the well known Le Grand and Dupont.
Organizer sources estimate the total number of direct exhibitors to reach more than 600 attracting an anticipated 15,000 professional visitors including contractors, consultants, project owners, project managers, real estate developers, building material and equipment traders and importers, engineers, government officials, and municipalities.
